Meet “K”, an adorable 5 year old who withstood some really cold weather for photos. When I was processing his images I loved the b&w tones, one of my favorite mediums.

- Awesome tones Andie :)
I had the privilidge today of meeting Andrea, of Andrea-Wood Photography (who by the way has my name, I go by Andie, she goes by Drea.) She drove an hour to get her maternity pictures done, brought along her husband and two boys. She even withstood 29 degree weather, she was in a long sleeved shirt (and at the end a tank top) and I was bundled up. It was so much fun photographing her, she was great to work with, so cooperative, and so sweet! She even posed herself, since I am not used to asking for poses (did you know kids don’t listen sometimes? ;) but adults do!)
Below are my favorites from today…. there’s quite a few!

- Colors and lighting are amazing Andie - great job! Also looks like you may have gotten a wide angle lens too - I'm jealous! Looks like I can give you a call this summer to do my maternity session =)
- Andie, great pictures you really need to come to my daughter's quienceanera here in Roswell New Mexico. Great job Cousing. I'm so proud of you. Keep up the good work.
- Those are so stunning!! Love them!!
- haha... drea you are so brave!! these are super cute!! Andie you did a great job!!
- These are gorgeous. I love the one sitting by the rocks. And the one holding onto the branch. You don't look cold at all. I love how the sun was out to make it look like summer...=)
- Great photos! I love the one of Drea by the rocks.
- Outstanding work! I'm Andrea's mom. Love all the pictures I've seen. The only way I could tell it was cold was by looking at the kids, clutching their scarves and drawing close to mom. I'm glad it was sunny, that helped some. Loved seeing some of your work on this blog.
- Awee we love them. My boys look so cold HEHE but soooo cute.. even Taite. I cant wait to see the rest. I really like the ones by the rocks! worth the climb. :) Thank you Andie!! Maybe one day in the summer once its warm I can bring my boys to meet you again.. when they arent super cold. Im sure they would love that park.
What can I say about this little girl other than she’s a trooper! She braved a cold 30 degree morning for a quick session, needless to say we all decided her next photo session will be held in the middle of summer so we don’t freeze little Leah into a popsicle.
Here’s a TINY peek for her Mom who I know is waiting, despite the shivering and red noses, I think she did really well! I’ll save the others for the gallery. :)
